Your cover letter should convey why you are the perfect candidate for the position.

HERE ARE 3 QUESTIONS YOUR COVER LETTER SHOULD EASILY ANSWER:

  1. WHO ARE YOU?

    • Start your cover letter with your success.

    • What is amazing about you?

    • What have you done recently that this company needs?

  1. WHY ARE YOU THE BEST FIT FOR THIS POSITION?

    • Explain how your experiences are relevant to the organization you’re applying for.

    • Why are you desirable as an employee?

    • You can also bullet point your best skills, areas of expertise or other qualifications that make you the best candidate for this position.

  1. DID YOU ASK FOR THE INTERVIEW?

    • End your cover letter by being BOLD and ask for what you want… a chance for an in person interview.

    • You can say something like “I welcome the opportunity to speak with you about how I can contribute…”

    • Be Confident! Don’t forget to provide email and phone number for contact.
