Drive innovation in pharma manufacturing—join our team as a Process Engineer and help deliver life-saving products to patients worldwide.

R&D Partners is seeking a Process Engineer to join our client’s team in Ireland. Reporting to the Team Lead, you will play a critical role within the Product Supply Units team, ensuring the reliable supply of syringe and vial products to patients globally. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to continuous improvement projects in a highly regulated GMP environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide process engineering support to the Product Supply APU.
  • Support delivery of continuous improvement projects for existing equipment.
  • Collaborate with departments such as MSAT, Technical Development, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain.
  • Leverage knowledge from existing manufacturing technologies to aid in developing new technologies for higher output and yield.
  • Ensure safety compliance and provide technical/engineering support for process and equipment failures.
  • Identify and implement process and product improvements.
  • Support qualification of new products/processes and analyze machine performance data.
  • Assist with new product introductions and capacity expansions, including vendor selection, maintenance planning, design changes, change controls, OEE improvement, and yield improvement.
  • Lead systematic technical root cause investigations.
  • Support all company safety and quality programs and initiatives.  

 

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Experience in a highly regulated GMP environment.
  • Degree in an Engineering discipline.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in documentation, protocol generation, and execution.
  • Automation experience with vision systems is desirable.
