Drinking Two Coffees A Day Could Cut Risk  Of Liver Cancer By A Third

Do you love coffee? Do you drink up to two cups a day? Well I have some great news for you! A new study published in the British Medical Journal states that you could lower your risk of developing liver cancer just by drinking your favorite morning drink.

HERE ARE THE DETAILS:

  • Scientists in the UK performed a meta-analysis of 26 previous studies involving over 2 million participants.

  • The purpose was to determine the links between coffee consumption and the most common form of primary liver cancer, known as HCC or hepatocellular cancer.

  • There are many studies that have already linked coffee consumption to liver health but what makes this study different is that it is the first of its kind to calculate the risk of HCC in relation to coffee.

  • Although decaf coffee also showed that it offered some of these benefits it was much less significant than drinking caffeinated coffee.

The study also showed the scary truth that liver cancer is on the rise. Increasing so fast that by 2030 the number of new cases is expected to rise by 50 percent to 1.2 million.
