SAP BW/4HANA Migration Lead

Lead the transformation to a next‑gen BW/4HANA analytics platform powering the future of Digital Health.

R&D Partners is seeking an experienced SAP BW/4HANA Migration Lead to oversee the end-to-end migration of legacy SAP BW 7x-BI systems to SAP BW/4HANA. This role will deliver a compliant, high-performance analytics platform for a leading organization in the Digital Health industry. The position is based in Denmark and requires immediate availability, with a start date no later than March 1st.

Responsibilities:

Migration & Architecture:

• Define migration strategy (in-place conversion or greenfield).
• Perform BW/4HANA Readiness Check and utilize Transfer Toolbox (RSB4HCONV).
• Map classic objects to ADSO, CompositeProviders, and Open ODS using Eclipse BWMT.

Reporting & Visualization:

• Transition BEx queries to BW/4 query designer.
• Modernize reporting using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

Security & Operations:

• Implement Row-Level Security.
• Manage transport management, monitoring, and reconciliation routines.

Stakeholder Management & Delivery:

• Engage with business teams and lead Agile delivery.
• Manage vendors and drive change management initiatives.

Key Skills and Requirements:

Experience:

• 12+ years in SAP DW-BI, with 8+ years hands-on in BW/4HANA and HANA modeling.
• Extensive experience in BW 7x to BW/4HANA migration, including ADSO, Composite Providers, Open ODS, and Eclipse.
• Proficiency in ODP extraction, SLT, Data Services, CDS-AMDP, HANA Calc Views, and performance tuning.

Industry Knowledge:

• Familiarity with pharma processes across PP-PI, QM, MM, SD, and exposure to S/4HANA integration.

Reporting & Governance:

• Expertise in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and self-service BI governance.

Leadership & Communication:

• Strong stakeholder engagement, solution design, and team leadership skills.
