Senior Scientist – NGS Molecular Biologist

R&D Partners is seeking a Senior Scientist with expertise in molecular biology and next-generation sequencing techniques. In this role, you will focus on laboratory-based research to support clinical and preclinical projects across various diseases and drug types. You will collaborate with a diverse team to develop innovative methods and ensure high-quality results.

Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced lab work using RNA-sequencing and other molecular biology techniques.
• Design and execute experiments, including RNA/DNA extraction, sample preparation, sequencing, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with team members and global partners to achieve project goals.
• Mentor and guide other scientists in the team.
• Develop and validate new protocols for multiomics research.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Advanced degree (PhD or MSc with equivalent experience) in a relevant scientific field.
• Hands-on experience with RNA-sequencing and related molecular biology techniques.
• Familiarity with laboratory automation systems and NGS platforms (e.g., Illumina, Oxford Nanopore).
• Knowledge of sample tracking using LIMS systems.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proactive and goal-oriented mindset with a passion for innovation.
