Are you ready to shape the future of therapeutics through cutting‑edge drug delivery, smart synthetic design, and innovation in API and IMP manufacturing?

R&D Partners is seeking a skilled Analytical Chemist to join our client’s analytical characterization team within Early Product Development and Manufacturing (EPDM). In this role, you will contribute to the development of drug products in their early stages, focusing on delivering high-quality analytical science. This is a lab-based position requiring collaboration, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with team members to support drug product development up to phase II.
  • Conduct experiments in the lab, document findings accurately, and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Contribute to regulatory clinical trial applications (CTA).
  • Communicate effectively across teams and disciplines to achieve project goals.
  • Stay updated on scientific advancements and drive innovation within the department.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g., MSc or PhD).
  • Knowledge and experience in analytical science, including chromatography techniques for small molecules.
  • Strong experimental skills and ability to deliver reliable data.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to inspire and lead colleagues.
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical development processes, including oral solid dosage forms.
  • Experience with regulatory submissions and working under GMP standards.
  • Proficiency in analytical techniques such as mass spectrometry, NMR, and dissolution testing.
  • Passion for driving innovation and adopting new technologies in analytical science.
