R&D Partners is seeking a Financial Analyst – I to join a leading pharmaceutical company in Ireland. This role focuses on international payroll processes and accounting across multiple countries, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency. The position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with global reach.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and audit payroll processes, including payroll accounting for multiple countries.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external payroll providers to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Perform month-end payroll activities, including journal preparation, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Lead country-specific payroll requirements and ensure compliance with local regulations.
  • Prepare employee and payroll tax payments, ensuring monthly and yearly compliance.
  • Create and maintain control documentation, process flows, and procedures.
  • Drive efficiencies and process improvements within payroll operations.
  • Manage the Payroll ESC ticketing system, ensuring timely responses and proper filing.
  • Support internal and external audits to maintain payroll integrity.
  • Assist with project-related activities as required.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Experienced accounting and payroll professional, preferably with multi-country corporate environment experience.
  • Proficiency in SAP and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in payroll and accounting processes.
  • Excellent customer service focus and ability to exceed expectations.
  • Skilled in process analysis, improvement, and fostering continuous improvement.
  • Effective team player with strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to translate business needs into solutions.
  • Ability to work in a multi-functional, multi-cultural environment.
  • Accounting qualification preferred; fluency in English required, French or other languages advantageous.
