Formulation Scientist

R&D Partners is seeking a Formulation Scientist for a laboratory-based role which involves working on pharmaceutical development projects, focusing on formulation design and process performance. You will contribute to experimental studies, analyze material properties, and ensure safe and efficient lab operations.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, set up, and conduct experiments independently, including feeder trials and material property evaluations.
• Safely handle powders and chemicals, adhering to safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Operate and maintain lab equipment, troubleshoot issues, and adjust settings as needed.
• Collect, analyze, and document experimental data using tools like ELN and Excel.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, managing time and tasks to meet project goals.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Background in Chemical, Mechanical, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Materials Science, or alternative relevant hands-on lab experience.
• Ability to perform experiments, calibrations, and basic troubleshooting independently.
• Knowledge of material properties such as bulk density, particle size, and flowability.
• Familiarity with data analysis, visualization, and tools like Excel macros, Python, or R.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with an adaptable mindset for dynamic project needs.
