Scientist (In Vivo / In Vitro Respiratory)

R&D Partners is seeking a Scientist to contribute to research in respiratory and immunology by supporting both laboratory-based (in vitro) and live animal (in vivo) studies. You will play a key role in advancing drug discovery projects and generating valuable insights.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and carry out experiments in the lab and with live animals.
• Perform and analyze protein expression tests, RNA analysis, and other molecular techniques.
• Assist with live animal studies, including handling, administering treatments, and collecting samples.
• Maintain high standards for data accuracy, quality control, and proper record-keeping.
• Present findings in team meetings and write clear reports and summaries.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Knowledge of molecular biology techniques like ELISA, RNA analysis, and qRT-PCR.
• Experience working with rodents, including handling, administering treatments, and collecting samples.
• Familiarity with statistical methods and data management.
• Educational background or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Certification or compliance to work with live animals in Sweden (LAS/FELASA).
