R&D Partners is seeking a Senior Scientist to contribute to groundbreaking research aimed at developing innovative gene therapies for rare diseases. You will work in a collaborative and dynamic environment, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to create effective and safe treatments.

Responsibilities:

• Design and test new genome editing strategies for specific diseases.
• Improve tools and methods to make gene editing more effective in targeted cells or tissues.
• Develop and run tests to evaluate the success of gene editing.
• Record, analyze, and share results with team members and stakeholders.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Advanced degree (PhD or equivalent experience) in life sciences with strong laboratory skills.
• Experience working with mammalian cell models, including primary or immortalized cells.
• Hands-on knowledge of CRISPR-Cas9 technologies.
• Proficiency in molecular biology techniques such as PCR, sequencing, RNA extraction, qPCR, Western blot, and ELISA.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with lentiviral vectors for cell model engineering.
• Familiarity with liquid handling instruments.
• Expertise in optimizing genome editing tools, including construct design and delivery methods.
