R&D Partners is seeking a motivated and independent Scientist to our client and work on advanced experiments to analyze proteins and genes in tissue samples, helping to uncover new biological insights. Your work will support research and development efforts across various therapeutic areas.

Applicants must have legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and carry out experiments to study proteins and genes in tissue samples.
• Use advanced tools and technologies like Xenium, Visium, and COMET for your experiments.
• Analyze data from experiments and adjust plans as needed.
• Share your findings in team meetings and collaborate with other teams.
• Keep detailed records of your work and ensure it aligns with project goals.
• Follow established lab procedures and meet project deadlines.
• Research and use available resources to improve study designs.
• Manage image and data processes, such as aligning and converting images.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• A degree in a scientific field (BA or BS).
• Experience with tools and platforms like 10x Genomics Xenium, Visium, or COMET.
• Familiarity with scanning fluorescent and histological slides.
• Knowledge of image analysis and processing; experience with machine learning is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills to handle multiple projects and work well in teams.
• Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to adapt and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation:

• $38 to $47 per hour.
