Global Market Development Manager

R&D Partners is seeking a Global Market Development Manager to join a leading pharmaceutical company. This role focuses on driving global initiatives to enhance healthcare professional education, expand disease awareness, and support market development in the assigned therapeutic area. The ideal candidate will bring strategic alignment, stakeholder collaboration, and scientific expertise to deliver impactful programs and materials.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver global educational programs and materials (live and digital).
• Plan and execute international scientific initiatives (e.g., advisory boards, expert meetings).
• Adapt global materials for affiliates, ensuring scientific accuracy and brand alignment.
• Oversee medical content development for global education and customer engagement.
• Monitor program effectiveness and share best practices with affiliates.
• Build relationships with medical experts and key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with affiliates to identify market needs and optimize activities.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Marketing, Business, or related field.

Experience:

• 13+ years in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry.
• Background in medical education, scientific communication, marketing support, or customer engagement.
• Experience in international and cross-cultural environments preferred.

Competencies:

• Strong scientific literacy; advanced scientific degree or training in marketing/medical education is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex science into clear messages.
• Proficiency in digital communication tools.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Team player with experience collaborating across multiple nationalities.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
• Languages: Business-level English required; German and additional languages are an advantage.
