Description

Do you take pride in ensuring the IT infrastructure behind regulated lab and manufacturing operations runs smoothly, reliably, and without compromise?

R&D Partners is seeking an IT Infrastructure and Network Analyst to ensure the smooth operation, reliability, and compliance of IT services at a regulated laboratory and manufacturing site. You will play a key role in maintaining systems that support critical lab and manufacturing operations while ensuring compliance with industry standards. This position requires hands-on technical expertise, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a focus on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day support for servers, networks, and connectivity at the site.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues, logging all activities in a service management tool.
  • Manage network infrastructure, including wireless networks and secure segmentation for lab environments.
  • Support user access, permissions, and configurations in Active Directory.
  • Ensure secure and compliant data access for file shares and SharePoint platforms.
  • Assist with laboratory systems such as LIMS and other QC tools, focusing on connectivity and backups.
  • Maintain physical and virtual server environments, including monitoring and patching.
  • Oversee local data center operations, including hardware, storage, and security controls.
  • Monitor and test enterprise backup and recovery solutions.
  • Participate in change management processes and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Provide documentation and support for audits and inspections.
  • Identify risks and contribute to system improvements.
  • Collaborate with vendors and service providers to maintain reliable infrastructure.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Background in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience in IT infrastructure and network support within regulated environments.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs, firewalls).
  • Familiarity with Windows Server, virtualization, and enterprise storage systems.
  • Proficiency in Active Directory and access management.
  • Understanding of GMP/GxP compliance and data integrity principles.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to create clear technical documentation.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Eligible to work in Ireland.
