Laboratory Services – Associate

R&D Partners is seeking to hire a Laboratory Services – Associate in San Diego, CA.

Your main responsibilities as a Laboratory Services – Associate:

· Train on and perform assigned laboratory testing, producing reliable and important results that can be used to make a difference.

· Responsible for handling sensitive equipment to analyze samples or substances and conduct tests reporting findings to a laboratory manager.

· Receive, label and analyze samples (BSL-1)

· Assist in the preparation, storage, and management of various assay controls and standards

· Conduct experiments under defined conditions to verify/reject various types of hypotheses using refined scientific methods

What we are looking for in a Laboratory Services – Associate:

· BS or higher in Biology / Biochemistry / Biochemical Engineering / Chemistry

· Degree in related discipline (Chemistry, Biology, ect) and/or equivalent work experience

· Knowledge of complex laboratory techniques (HPLC/Mass Spec/ddPCR preferred), equipment, terminology, materials and substances.

· Skilled in the use of laboratory equipment, ability to create and analyze statistical calculations and prepare reports required

Pay Scale:

$48,705 – $60,889 Dependent on Experience)
