R&D Partners is seeking a Biomarker Biostatistics Associate Director to play a key role in shaping and driving the strategic use of biomarkers throughout the drug development process. This position will focus on analyzing biomarker data to guide decision-making, reduce risks, and strengthen clinical and regulatory strategies. You will collaborate across teams to ensure that biomarker insights are effectively integrated into research and development efforts, ultimately contributing to the delivery of precision therapies for patients with severe autoimmune diseases.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with teams to develop biomarker strategies using statistical methods tailored to key program goals.
  • Translate scientific and clinical questions into actionable data analysis plans.
  • Analyze biomarker data to assess diagnostic, prognostic, and treatment-related outcomes.
  • Collaborate with clinical and translational teams to influence study designs and biomarker selection.
  • Integrate biomarker and clinical data to generate insights and support decision-making.
  • Ensure biomarker analyses are relevant, reliable, and meet clinical and regulatory standards.
  • Support the transition of exploratory findings into actionable evidence for clinical use.
  • Promote transparency and reproducibility in data analysis processes.
  • Mentor and guide teams to enhance statistical approaches and best practices.
  • Represent biomarker biostatistics in strategic discussions and decision-making forums.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Strong expertise in statistical methods for clinical and biomarker data (e.g., survival analysis, longitudinal models).
  • Experience working with biomarkers in areas like predictive modeling, pharmacodynamics, or patient stratification.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in R and experience with high-dimensional datasets.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional environments.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and biomarker strategy development is a plus.
