Lead the analytical science behind life‑changing small molecule therapies – from concept to commercialization.

R&D Partners is seeking an Analytical Project Leader to join a leading pharmaceutical company in Switzerland. This role focuses on small molecule analytical development, offering the opportunity to contribute to innovative therapies from early-phase development through commercialization.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead small molecule analytical development projects, including method validation and stability strategy, across cross-functional teams.
  • Oversee analytical activities, supervise internal and external testing, and ensure compliance with cGMP standards.
  • Prepare regulatory documentation for IND/NDA submissions.
  • Drive ICH-compliant method development with expertise in HPLC/UPLC impurity profiling.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Master’s or PhD in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in analytical development of drug substances or drug products for small molecules.
  • Strong expertise in HPLC/UPLC and impurity profiling.
  • Familiarity with cGMP environments and ICH guidelines.
  • English proficiency required; German is a plus.
  • Must have full right to work in Switzerland.

Additional Details:

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Work Arrangement: Full-time onsite with hybrid working possible after onboarding.
  • Rate: Dependent on experience.
