Description

Join a mission-driven team where your expertise helps deliver life-changing clinical solutions from deployment to adoption.

R&D Partners is seeking a Clinical Implementation Specialist to join a dynamic and mission-driven team in the medical technology and devices industry. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful deployment and clinical adoption of an innovative CE-marked intravaginal probe designed to support antenatal clinical decision-making. This is not a support or research role but a hands-on, field-based position with direct clinical impact.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end on-site deployment of the device at assigned hospitals.
  • Convert signed hospital agreements into active, high-quality clinical pilots.
  • Collaborate with Principal Investigators and clinical teams to define workflows, patient selection criteria, and data collection procedures.
  • Train midwives, obstetricians, and nursing staff to ensure consistent application techniques across all operators.
  • Troubleshoot device and application issues in real time.
  • Ensure data quality meets standards for normative curve construction and peer-reviewed publication.
  • Drive clinical adoption by integrating the device into routine workflows-success is measured by adoption, not just installation.
  • Provide structured field feedback to product, clinical affairs, and regulatory teams.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, Clinical Specialist track, or a related health sciences discipline.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a clinical applications field specialist or clinical affairs role within the medical device industry.
  • Proven ability to train clinical users and translate technical specifications into practical clinical workflows.
  • Experience deploying medical devices in live clinical environments.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English; German is a plus.
  • High availability for field travel across Spain and Germany.
