Lead the clinical vision that shapes breakthrough infection‑prevention products and drives strategic market leadership.

R&D Partners is seeking a Clinical Portfolio Lead to join a dynamic team in the medical technology and devices industry. This role is pivotal in shaping product strategy and innovation pipelines for infection prevention solutions, leveraging clinical expertise and market insights. The Clinical Portfolio Lead will act as the voice of the customer, driving strategic influence, commercial impact, and market leadership within a defined clinical segment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain clinical and product expertise, staying updated on emerging practices, research, and market trends.
  • Conduct continuous market analysis, including competitor activity, unmet needs, pricing, regulatory, and technical trends.
  • Serve as the internal reference point for clinical and functional questions related to the specialty.
  • Set product strategy for the clinical portfolio, feeding insights into product roadmaps, innovation projects, and strategic planning.
  • Identify opportunities for portfolio expansion and collaborate globally to interpret market intelligence.
  • Build and nurture relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), clinicians, and research partners.
  • Represent the company at conferences, events, and meetings, presenting products and clinical data confidently.
  • Deliver internal and external presentations, webinars, and training sessions.
  • Provide input for clinical and marketing collateral.
  • Undertake frequent travel to hospitals and healthcare facilities to gather insights and strengthen relationships.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Technical and Clinical Skills: Strong understanding of clinical workflows, infection prevention practices, and device applications.
  • Strategic and Commercial Skills: Ability to translate clinical insights into product and commercial strategies.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Confident communicator with strong relationship-building abilities.

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in life sciences, healthcare, bioengineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in clinical or regulated healthcare environments.
  • Proven exposure to infection prevention, medical devices, or adjacent fields.
  • Experience in commercially facing roles such as product management or marketing.
