R&D Partners is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join a dynamic team within the biotechnology industry. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong engineering background who thrive in hands-on environments and enjoy building systems from scratch. The position focuses on organizing experimental and computational data, enabling scientists to utilize it effectively, and supporting future AI-driven initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Organize and integrate experimental and computational data across teams.
• Build APIs, design systems, and deploy code to support scientific workflows.
• Collaborate with scientists to shape plans and make decisions in uncertain environments.
• Develop bespoke processes and system integrations to optimize data usage.
• Support the creation of AI-driven solutions by building foundational systems.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Programming: Proficiency in Python (non-negotiable).
• Cloud Platforms: Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Operating Systems: Familiarity with Linux environments.
• Additional Skills: JavaScript knowledge is a plus.
• Background: Engineering-focused candidates preferred; scientific backgrounds also considered.
• Mindset: Practical problem-solving approach with multitasking capabilities.
