R&D Partners is seeking a dedicated Computerized Lab Systems Specialist to manage and support the lifecycle of computerized systems used in laboratory environments. This role focuses on implementing, maintaining, and improving lab systems to ensure they are secure, reliable, and compliant with industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire lifecycle of lab computer systems, including setup, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Create and maintain detailed system designs, installation instructions, and architecture plans.
• Implement new systems and ensure they meet business needs.
• Monitor system performance and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate with vendors, business experts, and validation teams to ensure systems meet compliance and data integrity standards.
• Support validation and maintenance activities for regulated lab applications.
• Provide advanced technical support and assist with troubleshooting when needed.
• Ensure backup, restore, and disaster recovery plans are in place and tested regularly.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Familiarity with Microsoft operating systems (Windows 7, 10, 11, Server 2012-2025); certifications like MCSE are a plus.
• Basic understanding of networking, including TCP/IP, antivirus, remote administration, and Active Directory.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as DOS command line, VBScript, or PowerShell.
• Ability to write clear and accurate technical documentation.
• Understanding of validation and qualification processes for lab systems.
• Knowledge of GMP, GAMP5, and CFR21 Part 11 regulations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Proactive approach to managing system lifecycles and ensuring smooth operations.
