Digital Lab Systems Support

Join us as a Digital Lab Systems Support specialist and help power the technology that keeps modern labs running flawlessly.

R&D Partners is seeking a Digital Lab Systems Support professional to join the Digital Lab Systems Support team. This role focuses on operational support, lifecycle management, and IT infrastructure for computerized lab systems across QC, MSAT, and Manufacturing departments in both GMP and non-GMP environments.

Responsibilities:

• Lifecycle Management: Manage the full lifecycle of computerized lab systems, including architecture design, implementation, maintenance, and decommissioning.
• Installation & Configuration: Develop and maintain installation procedures and architecture-design specifications; apply best-practice configurations based on vendor and third-party input.
• Operational Support: Provide 2nd and 3rd line support, troubleshoot issues, perform performance analysis, and conduct maintenance activities for lab applications and associated infrastructure.
• Disaster Recovery: Ensure backup, restore, and disaster recovery plans are in place, maintained, and periodically tested to guarantee business continuity.
• Validation & Compliance: Support validation and qualification activities for GxP lab applications; review and approve GMP installation-configuration procedures; ensure data integrity and compliance with corporate and local ITS-GMP procedures.
• Knowledge Sharing: Provide IT expertise to QA and Validation departments; assist in documenting architecture and design specifications for GMP lab systems.

Key Skills and Requirements:

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft OS (Windows 10/11, Server 2016/2022; 2025 is a plus).
• Networking knowledge (TCP-IP, Active Directory, Antivirus, remote administration, IT infrastructure).
• Scripting experience (DOS command line, VBScript, PowerShell).
• Expertise in installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Microsoft systems and applications.
• Ability to write detailed technical specifications and installation instructions.

Regulatory & Compliance:

• Knowledge of GMP, GAMP5, and CFR 21 Part 11.
• Familiarity with validation and qualification methodology.
• Commitment to data integrity principles.

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal).
• Service-oriented, flexible, and well-organized.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Takes ownership and initiative with minimal oversight.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a similar GMP lab systems support role.
• Experience with agile ways of working.
