Keep the heartbeat of innovation running! Join our client in this Equipment Project Engineer and ensure cutting-edge pharma operations never miss a beat!

R&D Partners is seeking a skilled and accountable Equipment Project Engineer to manage and deliver a variety of projects within biopharmaceutical operations. This role involves overseeing automation-related projects, including server virtualization, equipment upgrades, and packaging solutions, while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and project standards. You will work closely with internal teams and external contractors to ensure successful project execution from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple automation projects, including server virtualization for production equipment during planned shutdowns.
  • Coordinate with global and local teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Collaborate with equipment manufacturers to upgrade control systems.
  • Support the procurement, installation, and qualification of GMP equipment.
  • Oversee packaging, serialization, and aggregation projects within biopharmaceutical operations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and provide regular updates to management and stakeholders.
  • Mentor team members and assign responsibilities to ensure project success.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve challenges that arise during project execution.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or a related engineering field.
  • Strong knowledge of automation systems and cGMP pharmaceutical environments.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in coordinating with diverse teams and external contractors.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering results.
