R&D Partners is seeking a Head of Medical Affairs for the DACH region to lead and develop medical strategies in the field of aesthetic medicine. This role involves managing a team, collaborating with cross-functional partners, and ensuring high-quality medical-scientific communication. You will play a key role in shaping the medical affairs strategy while supporting marketing, sales, and training initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Medical Affairs department, including budget oversight.
  • Develop and approve medical-scientific materials, such as presentations and briefings, in collaboration with marketing and sales teams.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and coordinate strategies for their development.
  • Establish clear processes for handling medical inquiries and ensure quality assurance.
  • Optimize workflows, identify efficiency improvements, and implement automation for recurring tasks.
  • Design and manage training programs for internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Evaluate and assess new projects and oversee strategic planning for professional development courses.
  • Represent the organization at medical congresses and events.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Proven working background in clinical and scientific medicine
  • Advanced degree required, MD, PhD, or equivalent.
  • Expertise in aesthetic medicine and experience working with healthcare professionals.
  • Proven ability to manage KOL relationships, organize events, and lead training initiatives.
  • Familiarity with managing Medical Science Liaisons and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Skilled in medical communication, including interactions with experts and regulatory authorities.
  • Proficient in German and English, with strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Competent in using IT tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with experience in scientific documentation.
  • Strategic thinker with leadership abilities, organizational talent, and a customer-focused mindset.
