R&D Partners is seeking an experienced and proactive HR Business Partner to support a wide range of HR activities in a manufacturing environment. This role involves managing day-to-day HR operations, providing guidance to managers, and contributing to employee well-being and organizational culture. You will also play a key role in recruitment, payroll, onboarding, and employee relations while supporting strategic HR initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily HR operations, including payroll, recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
  • Provide advice and support to managers on HR-related matters.
  • Coordinate recruitment processes, from interviews to onboarding new hires.
  • Manage payroll submissions and ensure accuracy in processing.
  • Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
  • Support employee well-being initiatives and participate in related committees.
  • Handle employee benefits administration, including pensions and health insurance.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and agencies for recruitment and benefits management.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety requirements.
  • Use HR systems to maintain accurate records and generate reports.
  • Act as a point of contact for employee relations, addressing concerns and advising on policies.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of HR operations, including payroll and employee relations.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support staff at all levels.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • High attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and best practices in HR.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
  • A degree in HR or a related field, with professional accreditation preferred.
