R&D Partners is seeking a Medical Affairs Director to lead the global medical strategy for advancing clinical evidence, regulatory credibility, and market adoption of innovative healthcare technologies. This role focuses on developing clinical narratives, engaging with key opinion leaders (KOLs), and collaborating across teams to ensure safe and effective product use while enhancing patient safety and healthcare value.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a global medical strategy and clinical evidence plan for the product portfolio.
  • Design and oversee clinical studies, including protocols, investigator relationships, and outcome generation.
  • Lead publication efforts, including peer-reviewed articles, conference presentations, and guideline contributions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with global KOLs in relevant medical fields.
  • Represent the organization in scientific forums, regulatory hearings, and expert panels.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align product claims, design, and marketing with clinical evidence.
  • Provide training and support to sales teams and advisory boards.
  • Manage the Medical Affairs team, including recruitment, development, and performance.
  • Oversee the department’s budget and ensure strategic financial management.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Ability to establish and lead a strategic medical function with confidence and credibility.
  • Strong collaboration skills across technical, commercial, and regulatory teams.
  • Proven ability to build long-term relationships with clinicians and scientific leaders.
  • Skilled in influencing KOLs to support clinical adoption and advocacy.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and a focus on delivery.
  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or healthcare (advanced qualifications such as MD, PhD, or PharmD preferred).
  • Proficiency in interpreting and communicating complex clinical data.
  • Fluent in English and proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
