Step into a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll shape daily operations, champion quality, and keep packaging performance on track.

R&D Partners is seeking a Packaging Team Lead to oversee daily packaging operations in a regulated environment. In this role, you will ensure safety, quality, and compliance while driving efficiency and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. You will act as a hands-on leader, providing guidance to the packaging team and collaborating with cross-functional departments to meet production goals. This is a shift-based position requiring flexibility to work alternating shifts.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead packaging activities, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with regulations.
  • Oversee packaging processes, including setup, line clearance, and changeovers.
  • Monitor packaging lines for efficiency, quality, and minimal downtime.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Coordinate the availability of packaging materials and components.
  • Provide training, coaching, and task allocation to team members.
  • Support new product introductions, equipment implementation, and process improvements.
  • Maintain inspection readiness and assist during audits and regulatory inspections.
  • Promote a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Experience in packaging or manufacturing, preferably in a regulated industry.
  • Familiarity with GMP, GDP, and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Leadership and communication abilities to guide and develop a team.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, shift-based environment.
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
