Description

Drive the design, optimisation, and launch of manufacturing processes that bring life‑changing pharmaceutical products to market.

R&D Partners is seeking a Process Engineer to join our pharmaceutical client that is building their engineering team. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing manufacturing processes for new and existing products. Your work will span from initial process design to equipment validation and product launch.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee engineering tasks to create manufacturing processes for products.
  • Work with the product development team to refine designs.
  • Ensure new product designs are easy to manufacture.
  • Create specifications for manufacturing equipment.
  • Plan and carry out equipment testing.
  • Develop project timelines for new processes and equipment.
  • Plan budgets for manufacturing equipment.
  • Collaborate with other departments on key decisions.
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing and packaging teams.
  • Investigate and resolve process issues, implementing solutions promptly.
  • Lead and support manufacturing improvement projects.
  • Address technical problems and document solutions.
  • Review and approve changes and ensure compliance.
  • Write and review reports for process improvements.
  • Document and approve new product introductions.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Manufacturing.
  • 5+ years of experience in a medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing setting.
  • Strong understanding of GMP/HPRA/FDA regulatory requirements and current Health and Safety Regulations legislation.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards.
  • Strong presentation and training abilities.
  • Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with inhalation products is a big advantage.
