Join a leading pharmaceutical company where your QA expertise will help safeguard product quality, compliance, and patient trust.

R&D Partners is seeking a QA Specialist to join a leading pharmaceutical company in Ireland. This role is part of the Quality Assurance team, ensuring that products are manufactured, stored, and packaged in compliance with cGMP standards. The position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to quality systems, training, and continuous improvement initiatives within a regulated environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with cGMP requirements across manufacturing, storage, and packaging processes.
  • Develop and deliver GMP training packages.
  • Prepare and review procedures and batch documentation.
  • Conduct audits of all departments according to the agreed schedule.
  • Act as the Quality Point person for systems and processes, providing guidance on quality issues.
  • Perform timely reviews of documentation, investigations, and reports, addressing concerns based on risk.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure timely closure of quality actions and findings.
  • Support internal, supplier, and regulatory audits, as well as key quality initiatives.
  • Investigate deviations and ensure all product deviations are resolved prior to product release.
  • Maintain work areas to good housekeeping standards and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Measure and report Right First Time (RFT) data and address recurring issues.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Education: Third-level qualification (degree in science or related discipline preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role within a GMP-regulated environment.
  • Strong knowledge of cGMP and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent accuracy, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and good presentation skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable to ongoing change.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
