Join our Cell Culture Analytics team and help ensure the quality of life-saving immunoglobulin products through precision and innovation.

R&D Partners is seeking a Quality Control Analyst to join our client’s team for an exciting part-time role. In the Cell Culture Analytics laboratory, release tests for our life-saving immunoglobulin products are carried out primarily manually in compliance with applicable cGMP guidelines.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Qualifications and Professional Experience

  • Completed vocational training as a laboratory technician specializing in biology or comparable qualifications (bachelor’s degree, university of applied sciences)
  • Experience with cell assays and cell culture technology
  • Experience working in a BSL2 virus laboratory
  • Experience in a GMP environment is an advantage
  • Willingness to undergo mandatory medical training: vaccinations and blood sampling
  • Basic IT skills (MS Office)
  • Very good German language skills

Our areas of expertise are:

  • Cell culture
  • Neutralization tests (anti-polio, anti-diphtheria, and anti-measles)

Your main tasks will include:

  • The practical implementation, evaluation, and documentation of the anti-measles neutralization test as part of a method optimization project.
  • Close practical and theoretical collaboration with a specialist from the Method Development group within the framework of the aforementioned project.

Other tasks include:

  • Routine cell culture (e.g., splitting of adherent cell lines)
  • Conducting other neutralization tests in routine QC (anti-polio and anti-diphtheria neutralization tests)
  • Assisting with the maintenance, calibration, and monitoring of analytical equipment
  • Assisting with the procurement and inventory management of consumables and laboratory materials
  • Assisting with laboratory maintenance (e.g., cleaning the laboratory)
