R&D Partners is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will focus on ensuring that products and processes meet high-quality standards through effective procedures, testing, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will play a key role in identifying and resolving quality issues, supporting inspections, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procedures, specifications, and standards for products and processes.
  • Lead quality projects from design to implementation, testing, and support.
  • Analyse data to identify trends and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Investigate customer complaints and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Ensure all validation activities are compliant and well-documented.
  • Evaluate and monitor suppliers to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Support the inspection process to ensure incoming materials meet requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve quality goals.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Proven years of experience in a Quality Engineering position within life sciences
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong understanding of blueprint reading, geometric dimensioning, and tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Familiarity with quality system regulations (e.g., QSR, ISO) and auditing techniques.
  • Knowledge of risk assessment tools like FMEA and product testing methods.
  • Experience with statistical analysis, process control, and capability studies.
  • Ability to use measurement tools such as optical comparators and CMMs.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with various stakeholders.
  • A degree in Engineering or Science is required; certification as a Quality Engineer (CQE) is preferred.
  • Up to 20% travel may be required.
