R&D Partners is seeking a Senior Medical Director to support clinical research projects for a 6-month contract. This role involves providing medical expertise to ensure the successful planning, execution, and oversight of clinical trials in oncology and immunology. You will play a key role in ensuring patient safety, data integrity, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Responsibilities:

Act as the medical lead for clinical studies from early to late-stage development.
Monitor the safety and well-being of trial participants and ensure data accuracy.
Review and provide input on study-related documents, including protocols, informed consent forms, and regulatory submissions.
Collaborate with external partners, such as clinical research organizations and key opinion leaders.
Provide training and guidance to trial personnel and address medical queries.
Contribute to risk management, protocol deviation reviews, and corrective action plans.
Support the generation and review of study results, including statistical analysis plans and clinical study reports.
Participate in external communications and publications related to study outcomes.

Key Skills and Requirements:

Medical degree (MD or MD-PhD) with experience in clinical research or pharmaceutical roles.
Background in immunology or oncology is highly desirable.
Strong leadership and strategic thinking abilities.
Familiarity with drug development processes, particularly Phase II and III trials.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
Ability to work collaboratively in a matrix organization.
