Sourcing Manager (Clinical Operations/R&D)

Lead high‑impact sourcing that fuels innovation across Clinical Operations and R&D.

R&D Partners is seeking a Sourcing Manager with expertise in Clinical Operations and R&D procurement. This role will focus on sourcing opportunities within the Clinical Operations/R&D category, with occasional responsibilities in other areas of indirect procurement.

Applicants must have legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities:

• Lead RFPs, vendor selection, contract negotiations, and supplier onboarding as needed.
• Track and analyze spend to identify initiatives that optimize costs and create supplier value.
• Partner cross-functionally to understand business requirements and develop sourcing strategies.
• Drive cost and cash flow improvements while enhancing supplier performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to manage vendor performance, SLAs, and KPIs, ensuring alignment with business needs and informing future negotiations.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree/MBA preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 7 years of progressive procurement experience, including strategic sourcing, cost modeling, and category management within pharma or biotech industries.
• Significant experience in indirect-services procurement and global sourcing of clinical trials.
• Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) accreditation is a plus.
• Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) with strong attention to clarity, accuracy, and conciseness.
• Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally, incorporate stakeholder feedback, and influence outcomes.

Compensation:

• $50.00 – $65.00 Per Hour
