Own and grow strategic healthcare accounts across central and eastcentral Sweden, driving impactful partnerships and commercial success.

R&D Partners is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to join our client’s team at their facility. This role is critical in driving improved care for patients within the cardiovascular, renal, and metabolism franchise area. As a Strategic Account Manager, you will develop and implement robust account strategies to achieve commercial targets. You will identify and prioritize high-value accounts such as hospitals and supply pharmacies, ensuring the differentiation of brands in key areas to improve market positioning. Collaboration with the local brand team will be essential to tailor strategies for each account and stakeholder.

Your efforts will focus on achieving favorable brand listings, protocol inclusion, and increased brand usage through effective OMNI channel plan delivery. Leveraging data analytics, market research, and customer insights, you will identify growth opportunities and utilize tools like Veeva to track customer interactions and forecast sales. A key aspect of this role is providing value-based selling by highlighting the clinical, economic, and patient outcomes of the products. Building and maintaining strategic partnerships within the therapeutic area ecosystem will also be a vital part of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute account strategies to meet commercial targets.
  • Identify and prioritize high-value accounts (e.g., hospitals, supply pharmacies).
  • Collaborate with the local brand team to create tailored strategies for accounts and stakeholders.
  • Drive favorable brand listings, protocol inclusion, and increased brand usage.
  • Utilize data analytics, market research, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities.
  • Track customer interactions and forecast sales using tools like Veeva.
  • Provide value-based selling by emphasizing clinical, economic, and patient outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships within the therapeutic area ecosystem.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Must reside in Värmland, Örebro, Sörmland, Uppsala, or Stockholm.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Academic degree or equivalent in Business or Healthcare.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare sectors or the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare system, pharma industry, and health economics.
  • Experience in cardio, nephro, or diabetes therapeutic areas is desirable.
  • MGU or equivalent degree.
  • Proven expertise in driving sales execution and excelling in customer-facing interactions.
  • Project management skills and experience with omnichannel execution.
  • Proficiency in using data-driven insights to drive performance and long-term strategic fit (e.g., NDR, Rikssvikt).
  • Excellent Swedish and English communication skills, with strong presentation and stakeholder influence abilities.
