Join a leading Irish biotech and play a key role in driving excellence across GMP bioprocessing operations.

R&D Partners is seeking an Technical Bioprocessing Scientist to join a leading biotechnology company in Ireland. This role focuses on supporting GMP manufacturing operations, coaching team members, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead personal development efforts and provide coaching/training to Bioprocessing Scientists in alignment with the Training Plan.
  • Ensure all work complies with GMP standards, Data Integrity principles, and Good Documentation Practices.
  • Complete required training in a timely and compliant manner before performing assigned tasks.
  • Manage and close GMP documentation, including CAPAs, Change Controls, Batch Records, and audit actions, accurately and on schedule.
  • Execute manufacturing activities across multiple unit operations following established procedures and best practices.
  • Identify, report, and investigate operational issues and safety risks while mentoring others in investigation processes.
  • Contribute to safety, quality, and efficiency improvements through collaboration and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Maintain aseptic technique and low bioburden standards within cleanroom operations.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of GMP standards and Good Documentation Practices.
  • Experience in managing GMP documentation (e.g., CAPAs, Change Controls, Batch Records).
  • Proficiency in aseptic techniques and cleanroom operations.
  • Ability to mentor and train team members effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
