Shape your future with the freedom to work where you thrive! Join our client with this fully remote Medical Director position where you will drive the medical team.

R&D Partners is seeking a Medical Director to join our team in a remote capacity. In this role, you will lead the Medical Department, ensuring clinical trials are conducted ethically, safely, and in compliance with regulations. You will oversee medical responsibilities for clinical studies, interpret clinical data, and collaborate with various teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Medical Department, ensuring quality and compliance with procedures.
  • Act as the main contact for medical and safety issues during studies.
  • Regularly review and update departmental procedures to align with current regulations.
  • Serve as Medical Monitor for assigned clinical trials.
  • Support all stages of clinical trial development, including protocol design, site selection, and safety management.
  • Address audit queries and ensure timely responses.
  • Provide therapeutic area expertise and internal training.
  • Build relationships with key experts and investigators in relevant fields.
  • Support pharmacovigilance activities, including safety report reviews and trend analysis.
  • Ensure clinical trials meet ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to business development activities, such as feasibility assessments and proposal reviews.
  • Oversee departmental budgets and ensure financial control.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Medical degree with expertise in dermatology or neurology.
  • Experience in medical monitoring and reviewing patient safety data.
  • Proven ability to lead medical or safety teams.
  • Familiarity with audits, CAPA management, and business development processes.
  • Strong understanding of financial project management and budget oversight.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in electronic data systems and MS Office tools.
