Step into the forefront of innovation with our client in biologics and jump into this Lead Scientist position!

R&D Partners is seeking a Lead Scientist to support downstream process (DSP) technology transfer activities in the biopharmaceutical industry. In this role, you will focus on ensuring smooth tech transfers, troubleshooting manufacturing processes, and generating essential documentation for GMP compliance. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead client discussions to optimize workflows and address challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and execute DSP technology transfer tasks, including introducing new products and validating processes.
  • Create and manage GMP-compliant documents for DSP manufacturing.
  • Assess risks associated with purification processes and propose solutions.
  • Work closely with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Host and lead client visits at manufacturing sites to address project needs.
  • Continuously improve DSP tech transfer workflows and respond to audits.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • A degree in Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in purification process development or technology transfer.
  • Familiarity with creating GMP documents such as process control strategies, risk assessments, and standard operating procedures.
  • Knowledge of process validation and quality activities, including handling deviations and corrective actions.
  • Strong understanding of downstream processing and cGMP guidelines.
  • Proficiency in English at a professional level.
