R&D Partners is seeking a skilled Digital Systems Engineering Services Consultant to support the implementation and maintenance of IT infrastructure for a new pharmaceutical manufacturing plant. This role focuses on technical and operational support for server, Citrix, Azure Virtual Desktop, and thin client technologies, ensuring compliance with GMP standards and organizational guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical and operational support for Server-Citrix-AVD-Thin Clients deployed in Plant 3.
• Conduct preliminary research into the feasibility of new technologies, including Azure Virtual Desktop integration with Citrix VDI via Dell Optiplex 3000 thin clients.
• Propose best-in-class technical solutions aligned with organizational standards and guidelines.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects and global service owners to define and execute implementation trajectories for infrastructure, applications, and peripherals.
• Co-own and manage systems lifecycle, maintenance, and troubleshooting for:
• Dell Wyse Thin Clients
• Citrix LTSC 2004
• Servers (2016, 2019, 2022) in collaboration with corporate IT services
• Active Directory, GPO management, DNS, DHCP
• Databases (SQL, Oracle)
• Cisco-based networks
• Execute IT infrastructure projects for MES DeltaV in the context of Plant 3 implementation.
• Communicate operational and project-related activities with stakeholders locally, across the organization, and externally.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Expertise in servers, VMware, Citrix, VxRail, VSAN ReadyNode, and cloud technologies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft operating systems (Windows 11, Server 2019/2022/2025); MCSE certification is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of networking (TCP-IP), antivirus solutions, remote administration, and IT infrastructure.
• Ability to write specifications; knowledge of validation methodology is an advantage.
• Familiarity with GMP, GAMP5, and CFR 21 Part 11 guidelines is a plus.
• Flexible, service-oriented, and able to work independently in a well-organized manner.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in Dutch and English.
• Experience with installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Microsoft operating systems and applications.
