This role focuses on providing expert service and support for centralised laboratory instrumentation, particularly within biochemistry, across a designated regional area, with occasional broader travel.

You will work as part of a collaborative specialist team, building strong customer relationships and delivering a consistently high standard of technical service. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, technically proficient, and driven to support excellence within the diagnostics or life sciences sector.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Responsibilities:

  • Install and provide technical support for laboratory systems.
  • Conduct customer training sessions to ensure effective system use.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for pathology laboratory solutions.
  • Assist with sales support, including tender responses and product demonstrations.
  • Perform software modifications and product maintenance.
  • Build strong customer relationships to enhance service delivery.
  • Travel within the London area, with occasional travel to the South region and Head Office in Burgess Hill.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • In-depth understanding of the IVD (In Vitro Diagnostics) industry.
  • Experience in implementing best-in-class laboratory practices, either in hospital laboratories or similar diagnostic solution providers.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to provide effective support for pathology laboratory solutions.
  • Self-motivated, capable of working independently, and managing time effectively.
  • Ability to plan work schedules and travel arrangements autonomously.
  • Commitment to maintaining technical knowledge and building professional customer relationships.
  • Willingness to travel and stay overnight when required (not routine).
  • Must reside in or near the London region or be willing to relocate due to response time requirements.
