R&D Partners is seeking a Clinical Supply Chain Operations Manager to oversee the smooth and compliant execution of clinical supply activities for various programs. In this role, you will ensure timely delivery of materials to clinical sites and patients while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support clinical trials. You will also manage risks, maintain inventory visibility, and contribute to process improvements in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of clinical supply activities, including packaging, labeling, distribution, inventory, and study closeout.
  • Ensure clinical trial milestones are met, such as site readiness and on-time delivery of supplies.
  • Collaborate with teams like Clinical Operations, Quality Assurance, and Regulatory Affairs to ensure efficient and compliant trial execution.
  • Identify and address risks, delays, or disruptions in supply operations, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Oversee temperature excursions and supply deviations, ensuring proper documentation and resolution.
  • Maintain accurate records to ensure compliance and inspection readiness.
  • Monitor inventory levels and supply availability across multiple programs.
  • Contribute to improving processes, tools, and workflows.
  • Provide training and mentorship to team members.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Background in a scientific field, supply chain management, or related area.
  • Knowledge of clinical supply chain processes, including packaging, labeling, and global distribution.
  • Familiarity with clinical trial operations and drug development processes.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., GMP, GCP, FDA, EU).
  • Experience with tools like IRT/IXRS, inventory systems, Excel, and ERP software.
  • Strong project management, problem-solving, and risk mitigation skills.
  • Ability to manage vendors and oversee budgets.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, attention to detail, and collaboration skills.
