Are you looking to make an impact with your innovation? We are working with a well-established pharmaceutical company to find their next Supply Chain Manager!

R&D Partners is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee supply chain operations, focusing on cold chain management, supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with distribution standards. This position offers a hybrid working model with occasional travel.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure products are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Manage and improve cold chain logistics to ensure proper transportation of temperature-sensitive shipments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with supply chain partners and internal teams.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities while maintaining high-quality performance.
  • Monitor and adapt to changes in regulations or trends that may impact distribution processes.
  • Plan and manage distribution routes across the region.
  • Conduct regular reviews with supply chain partners to address issues and drive improvements.
  • Support internal teams by resolving escalations with third-party suppliers.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Background in supply chain, logistics, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of cold chain logistics and warehousing.
  • Strong project management skills, including working across departments and regions.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with proficiency in tools like MS Excel.
  • Fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, solve problems, and deliver results under pressure.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time and participate in calls outside standard working hours.
  • Familiarity with GMP and GDP standards.
  • Experience with SAP and service level agreements.
  • Certifications in project management or supply chain (e.g., APICS CSCP or CPIM).
  • Knowledge of process improvement tools like Six Sigma or FMEA.
