DBM Operations & Process Specialist

R&D Partners is seeking a DBM Operations & Process Specialist to join a leading pharmaceutical company in Spain. This role focuses on managing operational activities within the Digital Biomarker Operations sub-chapter, supporting clinical trials through demand management, financial reporting, and lifecycle management of digital devices and applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT operations, application management, and process improvement, with a passion for mobile and wearable digital technology.

Responsibilities:

Demand Management:

• Own and maintain the demand management process for the study portfolio.
• Coordinate demand review meetings and provide stock management recommendations.
• Update plans, establish JIRA tickets, and manage SAP production orders.

Application Management:

• Support the end-to-end lifecycle of applications and devices deployed in clinical trials.

Financial Reporting:

• Compile monthly cost reports for hardware, workforce, and shipment costs.
• Handle cross-charging to studies.

Knowledge Base:

• Create and maintain documentation in the Knowledge Base Wiki.

Purchasing Support:

• Assist with purchasing-related activities for device operations.

Device Returns:

• Manage the end-to-end return process, including physical handling, inspection, cleaning, and storage.

Process Improvement:

• Drive process improvements and ideation for device operations.

Key Skills and Requirements:

Must-Haves:

• University degree in a technical field.
• 7-10 years of experience in IT operations or application management.
• Strong proficiency in analysis and reporting using spreadsheets (including formulas and macros).
• Experience with mobile application development or deployment.
• Knowledge of data security and privacy guidelines in regulated environments (e.g., Pharma).
• Proficiency in second or third-level technical support.
• Fluent in English.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
• Familiarity with Computer Systems Validation (CSV) and change management processes.
• Project-based work experience in clinical development.
• Good Spanish language skills (written and spoken).
