R&D Partners is seeking a skilled Process Engineer to support manufacturing and development operations within a leading pharmaceutical company. This role focuses on driving continuous improvement, optimizing processes, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and support to operations teams to meet quality and performance standards.
  • Develop and implement improvement initiatives across manufacturing and development operations.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to enhance processes.
  • Optimize manufacturing and development operations, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Act as process lead for inspection development and technical problem resolution.
  • Implement and monitor performance metrics to drive operational excellence.
  • Lead cycle time reduction initiatives a implement best practices.
  • Design and execute experimental programs, including plant trials and scale-up projects.
  • Support new product introductions, clinical supply provision, and technology transfer projects.
  • Ensure compliance with cGMP standards and maintain quality documentation.
  • Address complaints, deviations, and CAPAs with effective root cause analysis and timely closure.

Key Skills and Requirements:

Education:

  • Degree in Chemical, Industrial, or equivalent Engineering discipline.
  • Advanced degree in Pharmaceutics, Pharmacy, or related science discipline is an advantage.

Technical Knowledge:

  • Expertise in aseptic manufacturing, including lyophilization, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Design of Experiment (DOE) and statistical techniques.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical product development life-cycle.

Skills:

  • Exceptional report-writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Laboratory and pilot plant experience.
  • Research, innovation, and creativity skills.
  • Project management and structured problem-solving abilities.
