Associate Principal Data Scientist – Pharmaceutical Development

In this role, you will use advanced data science and machine learning techniques to transform drug development processes. You will work on cutting-edge projects involving chemical property prediction and scientific knowledge discovery, contributing to the creation of life-changing medicines. This position requires a strong technical background and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and apply machine learning and deep learning methods for drug development.
• Create visual tools to simplify complex data and engage stakeholders.
• Work closely with IT and engineering teams to implement and deploy solutions.
• Stay updated on industry trends by reviewing research and attending conferences.
• Share findings through publications and presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Advanced knowledge in computer science, data science, artificial intelligence, or related fields.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python or R.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or DGL.
• Expertise in applied machine learning areas like deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), or generative AI.
• Experience in developing and deploying data science models.
• Contributions to open-source projects (e.g., GitHub).
• Strong academic publication record in AI.
• Experience in pharmaceutical development, chemical engineering, or chemistry-related machine learning projects.
• Knowledge of advanced machine learning domains like transfer learning, explainable AI, or federated learning.
