Are you a Data Scientist looking to lead innovative data science projects at the forefront of pharmaceutical research?

R&D Partners is seeking an experienced and dedicated Data Scientist to lead innovative projects in pharmaceutical development. In this role, you will use advanced data science and machine learning techniques to transform drug development processes. You will work on cutting-edge projects involving chemical property prediction and scientific knowledge discovery, contributing to the creation of life-changing medicines. This position requires a strong technical background and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and apply machine learning and deep learning methods for drug development.
  • Create visual tools to simplify complex data and engage stakeholders.
  • Work closely with IT and engineering teams to implement and deploy solutions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends by reviewing research and attending conferences.
  • Share findings through publications and presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge in computer science, data science, artificial intelligence, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python or R.
  • Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or DGL.
  • Expertise in applied machine learning areas like deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), or generative AI.
  • Experience in developing and deploying data science models.
  • Contributions to open-source projects (e.g., GitHub).
  • Strong academic publication record in AI.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical development, chemical engineering, or chemistry-related machine learning projects.
  • Knowledge of advanced machine learning domains like transfer learning, explainable AI, or federated learning.
