R&D Partners is seeking an Engineering Projects Manager for a fully onsite role in Ireland.The company is particular is transitioning from R&D into commercial manufacturing. In this position, you will lead and manage engineering projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and regulatory standards. This role requires collaboration with various teams and a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee all stages of engineering projects, including planning, design, execution, and handover.
  • Set project delivery standards and ensure effective governance and performance tracking.
  • Work closely with teams across manufacturing, quality, safety, and finance to achieve project goals.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards, including ISO certifications and cGMP requirements.
  • Maintain readiness for audits and support both internal and external inspections.
  • Promote a strong safety culture, manage risks, and investigate incidents when necessary.
  • Oversee project budgets, financial processes, and risk management while ensuring compliance with procurement policies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement tools to enhance performance and workplace efficiency.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the engineering team, fostering skills growth and career progression.
  • Contribute to site-wide strategy, governance, and leadership efforts.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Knowledge of safety, environmental, and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 14001, 45001, 50001, cGMP).
  • Experience in managing budgets, financial controls, and procurement processes.
  • Ability to foster teamwork and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
