Keep the heartbeat of innovation running! Join our client in this Patient Safety position and ensure cutting-edge pharma operations never miss a beat!

R&D Partners is seeking a Patient Safety Partner for a 6-month contract. In this role, you will support safety-related activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain the organization’s ability to operate effectively. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to optimize safety systems, assess safety needs for various programs, and contribute to risk management strategies. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with key stakeholders to ensure safety systems meet regulatory standards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve safety processes and systems.
  • Collect and assess safety data from various programs, including market research, patient support, and digital initiatives.
  • Review study protocols and provide pharmacovigilance (PV) support.
  • Support local safety risk management activities, particularly in ophthalmology.
  • Analyze and share safety insights to inform strategies and improve patient outcomes.
  • Implement global safety solutions at the local level and prepare for product launches.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage risk and communicate safety information effectively.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • A degree in life sciences, healthcare, or a related field (e.g., PharmD, MSc, BSc, Nursing).
  • Experience in pharmacovigilance, ideally in a local or affiliate setting.
  • Familiarity with organized data collection systems and local safety risk management planning.
  • Basic understanding of drug development, regulatory requirements, and the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, and planning skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Effective communication skills and a proactive mindset.
