Could your psychiatric assessment expertise help shape the future of treatment for patients living with autoimmune psychosis?

R&D Partners is seeking experienced Registered Mental Health Nurses or other psychiatry-experienced professionals in the UK to serve as Clinical Raters for Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale (PANSS) assessments in an upcoming study. This role involves conducting psychiatric assessments and administering clinical rating scales for a long-term research project.

This role is based anyhwhere in the UK.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct PANSS assessments for study participants.
  • Administer clinical rating scales and psychiatric evaluations.
  • Complete and pass all required rater training and certification processes.
  • Commit to approximately 15-20 hours per week, with patient visits lasting approximately 1.5-2 hours each.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Preferred: Registered Mental Health Nurse or another suitably qualified psychiatry-experienced professional.
  • Prior experience conducting psychiatric assessments and administering clinical rating scales.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to study protocols.
  • A physician qualification is not required.

  • Indication: Autoimmune Psychosis (Adults aged 18-60 years)
  • Geography: United Kingdom only
  • First Patient Visit: October 2026
  • Last Patient Visit: June 2029
  • Study Duration: 44 months
  • Total Participants: 240
  • Visit Schedule: Up to 8 visits per participant
