R&D Partners is seeking a Director/Sr. Director specializing in peptide API development and manufacturing to join a leading biotech organization. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive end-to-end business planning, oversee large-scale process design and optimization, and lead technology transfer initiatives for GMP commercial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategies for peptide API development and manufacturing.
• Oversee process design, scale-up strategies, and optimization initiatives.
• Lead technology transfer from development to GMP commercial operations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, regulatory, and operational teams.
• Support inspection readiness and continuous improvement across the peptide production lifecycle.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Master’s or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Organic Chemistry, or related discipline.
• Extensive experience in peptide API process development, technology transfer, and commercial manufacturing.
• Hands-on expertise in cGMP operations, process optimization, and regulatory inspections (FDA/EMA).
• Proven ability to lead technical programs and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
