Business Analyst

R&D Partners is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst to collaborate with product management and technical teams in the development of software solutions for clinical trials. This role requires a proactive individual who can translate business needs into actionable plans while ensuring user satisfaction and technical compatibility.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with product managers and technical teams to understand project needs.
• Break down requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with the scrum master to assess task sizes and potential risks.
• Participate in planning sessions, including release planning, sprint planning, and backlog reviews.
• Identify practical solutions for both technical and business challenges.
• Partner with software engineers, quality assurance teams, and operations to ensure smooth implementation and user satisfaction.
• Follow established procedures and best practices to maintain high standards.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
• Experience as a business analyst delivering software products.
• Ability to work effectively in situations with limited information or clarity.
• Knowledge of software development for clinical trials, such as EDC (Electronic Data Capture) or eCOA (Electronic Clinical Outcome Assessment), is preferred.
• Understanding of regulatory environments like 21 CFR Part 11 is a plus.
