Bridge the gap between cutting-edge biologics research and commercial success by transforming scientific needs into impactful proposals.

R&D Partners is seeking a Proposal Developer to join a leading biotechnology company specializing in biologics. This role is pivotal in translating client scientific needs into clear, feasible, and accurate proposals while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with client objectives and operational capabilities.

Responsibilities:

Proposal Development and Documentation:

  • Review and interpret client scientific requirements, objectives, and expectations.
  • Draft, review, and finalize proposals and supporting documentation.
  • Translate scientific discussions and technical requirements into clear, accurate proposals.

Study Design, Feasibility, and Risk Assessment:

  • Collaborate with scientific experts to design study approaches and define project scope.
  • Evaluate assay feasibility, study design options, timelines, deliverables, and resource requirements.
  • Identify scientific, technical, and operational risks and ensure they are reflected in proposals.

Stakeholder Coordination and Client Support:

  • Serve as a key scientific contact during proposal development and participate in client discussions.
  • Coordinate proposal development activities across Business Development, scientific teams, operations, and Contracts & Proposals.
  • Ensure proposals accurately reflect laboratory capabilities, scientific recommendations, and client expectations.

Budgeting and Process Improvement:

  • Develop and maintain project budgets based on study design, resource requirements, and operational assumptions.
  • Support continuous improvement of proposal development processes, pricing tools, and proposal templates.

Key Skills and Requirements:

Education and Scientific Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Immunology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • Strong understanding of scientific concepts, study objectives, and assay workflows.

Relevant Experience:

  • Experience in proposal development, scientific project coordination, laboratory operations, or Business Development support is a plus.
  • Familiarity with pricing strategies and financial models, including cost of goods sold (COGS) data, is advantageous.

Key Competencies:

  • Scientific knowledge in immunology, cell biology, or related life sciences.
  • Expertise in scientific study design and scope development.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into commercial proposals.
  • Strong skills in proposal and budget development.
  • Excellent client-facing communication and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Salary:

  • €00 – €40.00/ Hour
