Are you ready to turn precision into progress and play a key role in shaping the future of pharmaceutical innovation?

R&D Partners is seeking an experienced Equipment Project Engineer to manage and deliver a variety of projects within biopharmaceutical operations. This role involves overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of projects related to enzyme production, monoclonal antibodies (mAbs), oral dosage forms, medical devices, laboratories, and packaging operations. You will work in a hybrid setup (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) and play a key role in ensuring project success from start to finish.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Responsibilities:

  • Write and manage change control documentation.
  • Plan and schedule project activities while managing risks and resources.
  • Coordinate with subject matter experts, vendors, and teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Lead automation-related projects, including server virtualization for live production equipment during planned shutdowns.
  • Collaborate with global and local teams, including IT, automation, validation, and production groups, as well as external contractors.
  • Work with equipment manufacturers to upgrade control systems and provide automation support for GMP equipment.
  • Oversee procurement, commissioning, and qualification of equipment and infrastructure.
  • Deliver projects related to packaging, serialization, aggregation, and biopharmaceutical equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Regularly report project status to management and stakeholders.
  • Mentor team members and maintain accurate project documentation.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing environments, including cGMP standards.
  • Experience in automation and working with live production equipment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering results.
